your everyday life.
A day in your
energy life.
Move from day to night. Add a battery. Then take the grid out of the picture and see what changes.
Try an outage, then switch the battery off.
Sunlight has the first shift.
In this sunny-day example, solar supplies the home and surplus charges the battery. The grid stays connected and available.
Get My Power PlanWhat this example assumes
This is a qualitative energy-flow illustration. Daytime assumes enough sunshine to serve the shown loads; an enabled battery is assumed to have charge and compatible backup equipment. In the evening example, the battery supports home loads and an enabled EV uses grid power. During an outage, the example powers selected essentials and pauses EV charging. Actual flows depend on system design, settings, weather, available charge and household demand. It does not estimate savings, production or backup duration.
